I have always had a great desire to heal people and animals.

Having spent considerable amounts of time in hospitals whilst growing up due to ill health, I saw lots of suffering. Many years of different doctors, hospitals, tests and ultimately very strong medication took its toll. Sometimes I didn’t know what was worse; the symptoms or the side effects of medication. Nearly at the end of my three year nursing degree I had to finish due to health reasons. The medical treatments available to me at the time did not make me well enough to return to nursing so I was forced to search for an alternative career.

This led me to the corporate world where my health suffered further. Constantly tired and stressed I started training as a massage therapist in my spare time.

After attaining my certificate in massage therapy my love of horses took me off to study my diploma in Equine Myofunctional Therapy. Through my work massaging horses I noticed that horses responded extremely well to hands on healing. I discovered Reiki, it changed my world. I have used Reiki to pretty much cure myself of Lupus and have had no symptoms for 5 years now.

Reiki has healed me on many levels; body, emotions, mind and spirit. My illness was triggered by stress. Reiki is incredibly powerful at reducing stress and increasing relaxation. Reiki is used to balance the body and therefore allow the body to heal itself. Therefore giving me Total Life Balance.

I am now a fit and healthy wife and a mother of two gorgeous boys. My desire to heal people and animals is still strong and Reiki has given me the ability to make a difference to people and animals for many different reasons.
